Food, Farms & Agriculture
- Launched The Agri-Tourist Podcast to expose and promote agritourism as a marketing and revenue opportunity for farms and agricultural businesses.
- Created and executed the branding, marketing strategy and business development for HeartBeet Farms resulting in partnerships with Stony Brook University Campus and Medical Center, Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, YMCA Long Island, Mather Hospital, Softheon Inc., Bozzuto Real Estate Group, Smith Haven Mall (Simon Mall), Ward Melville Heritage Organization, BeeWitched Bee and Long Island Microgreens. In addition, launched a plant-based soup CSA using farm-fresh vegetables.
- Managed and expanded the farmstand and volunteers for Hobbs Community Farm which included becoming a part of the NYS Farmers Market Nutrition Program.
- Developed a marketing strategy for 4E Green Farm which included building a website and designing and executing a Winter CSA Program for the farm. Leveraged my strong relationship with Stony Brook University Hospital to launch the Winter CSA program. The Winter CSA program sold out and exceeded the first-year goal by 33%.
- Managed the digital marketing strategy including website, email, text, & social media for Sansone Market. Implemented a full marketing strategy which included creating and implementing a market loyalty program, designing, marketing, and implementing monthly food demonstrations and events, collaborating with social media food influencers, training staff on sales, cross-sell, and customer management, and building an Italian Gift Box revenue stream.
- Created email and text marketing campaigns for Sansone Foods.
- Developed and implemented a marketing strategy for Bruno’s Pizza. Implemented a loyalty program which had a significant impact on increasing their customer base.
- As the Marketing Team Leader, helped to launch the Whole Foods Market Lake Grove store in 2010, working to integrate the new store into the local community. Stayed on for 6 months after launch to support a seamless marketing transition.
- Supported the marketing and business development for Heavenly Hummus and My Favorite Hummus.
- Traveled to Belize, Dominican Republic & Grenada to learn about the agriculture behind chocolate.

- Hosted several chocolate tastings highlighting chocolates from the destinations I visited.
- Hosted a Chocolate & Honey Kiosk at the Smith Haven Mall, focused on teaching customers about the agriculture behind both products.
Medical, Nutrition, Wellness, Home Care
- Developed a website and designed and executed a full marketing strategy for Dr. Marcelle, a Canadian health practitioner.
- Developed the marketing strategy for Natural Approach Healthcare including website design and execution, search engine optimization, blogging, videos, and overall digital strategy and execution. Business has now expanded to a Primary Care business with two practitioners. Helping to design new brand, logo, website, promotions, and create a marketing strategy. Natural Approach Healthcare is now called KKNP Health.
- Developed and executed marketing strategy for ONE Nutrition & Wellness. Significant focus on customer relationship management strategy, partnership development, events, and emails.
- Community Growth Center focuses on treating the body, mind and soul by giving individuals a safe space to grow, a creative environment to learn, and healthy ways to live. I guided the team on how to setup the business, complete the non profit paperwork, design the branding, and create the launch and first year business strategy. We created several innovative programs to create a stream of income for the non profit business.

- For several years, I helped to guide Cascading Joy Wellness’s business strategy and helped execute several marketing and analytics projects.

Financial Services – Commercial and Consumer Cards
- Vice President & Marketing Director of the Commercial Credit Card Division at JPMorgan Chase from 2001 to 2005. The team I led revitalized the business credit card portfolio and quadrupled portfolio profit through a re-build of the strategic team and the design and execution of innovative acquisition, portfolio management, and loyalty programs. Through an RFP process, we secured co-branded opportunities with General Motors and Continental Airlines.
- As the National Sales Manager from 1999-2001, I was tasked with converting four US-based Chase Credit Card Service centers into sales centers, creating a new sales revenue channel that delivered an incremental $1MM in it’s first year roll-out.
- My experience with JP Morgan Chase from 1992-1999 included the following roles: Consumer Credit Card Marketing Communications Manager, Consumer Credit Card Pricing Manager, and Senior Auditor. I was recruited from college to participate in the Financial Management Development Training Program which launched my career at JP Morgan Chase.
Sports
- Interim CEO & Marketing Director of EventPower, Long Island’s largest and most tenured mutlisport company, responsible for overall operations management, staff development and management, and marketing.
- Developed the Conquer the Hill 5K Run, moving it to a trail run race which takes place annually on Black Friday.
- Produced Futbol Mundial’s ‘Best of the Best’ digital marketing campaign sponsored by the US Army to launch their new Digital Sports Network. Our videos produced over 250,000 likes, earning Futbol Mundial a more significant US Army sponsorship in Year 2.
- Developed the Steve Tarpinian Memorial Fund to celebrate the generous spirit and honorable character of Steve Tarpinian, accomplished athlete, author, entrepreneur, empowering coach, and passionate human being, who touched the lives of thousands of people through the sport of triathlon. The non profit exposes students to the sport of triathlon by granting free triathlon entries to qualified student athletes who exemplify the honorable character and generous spirit of Steve Tarpinian and currently participate in the sports of swimming, biking or running. In addition, the non profit funds youth triathlon programs that need financial support to sustain or expand their mission.
Events
- As the Interim CEO and Director of EventPower, we produced over 10 triathlon, duathlon, and half marathon events throughout Long Island and Westchester, NY.
- Created and produced over ten Conquer the Hills 5K events.
- Created and managed a kayakathon event with an environmental focus.
- Created and managed several farmers markets. Produced a drive-through farners market during COVID at Smith Haven Mall, and hosted farmers market at Stony Brook Medical Center and the historic Terry House in Farmingville. In addition, coordinated and hosted several mobile farm stands with our HeartBeet Farms truck.
- Created and hosted several history events in support of the Farmingville Historical Society including a historic Scavenger Hunt, History Speakers, and Trick or Treat Trail with a focus on the history of candy.
Local, Handmade, Artisanal, Design
- Designed a marketing strategy for Pixie Soaps & Suds, a local handmade soap company that is focused on developing and selling healthy soaps and body products.
- Designed a website and marketing plan for LoriGirl Creations Design Company.
Aviation
- Contracted to convert an existing operations department into a marketing and sales function at Northeastern Aviation Corp. resulting in a 5% revenue increase in new client acquisitions and a 15% revenue increase in retention and expansion of existing client spend. I was focused on teaching employees about marketing and sales strategy as well as ongoing consulting with the company Sales & Marketing Director.
Career
- Supported the launch of a startup called VocationVacations out of Portland, Oregon. Helped with a diversity of initiatives including proposal/pitch development, identifying and building prospective partnerships, and marketing strategy and execution. VocationVacations focused on providing in-person mentorship opportunities to people looking to make a career change.
- Became certified as a Global Career Development Facilitator through the National Career Development Association.

- Was brought into The Westmark Group to help with managing tasks and deadlines. Slowly took over management, hiring, and marketing oversight of the digital marketing team. The team lacked strategic direction and management which had a significant impact on client retention. Due to my rebuilding and management of the digital marketing team, the company was sold to an investment company looking to integrate a marketing division to its suite of businesses. Some clients I helped to support include: The Crescent Beach Club, Ocean Restaurant, and Walls Wharf Restaurant & Catering.

History
- I am the Treasurer and Program Director for the Farmingville HIstorical Society. In addition to several fundraising activities related to history education, I developed the first elementary school field trip to visit our 1850 One Room Schoolhouse. The historic Schoolhouse had not been opened for over 84 years. We were determined to reopen it and provide history education to local students.
- Due to rising transportation fees, time constraints outside the classroom, and most recently, COVID, virtual field trips have become a critical resource for educators. Without any outside funding, we transformed our field trip into The Virtual One-Room Schoolhouse– a 360-degree inside and outside tour of our 1850 Bald Hill One-Room Schoolhouse with educational videos and short quizzes on topics related to what life was like for a student growing up in the 1800s. This Virtual One-Room Schoolhouse truly allows a student or adult to immerse into an 1850 setting and learn about all the aspects of student life at that time.
- The Telly Awards, an international award competition, honors excellence in video and television across all screens. The 42nd Annual Telly Awards were dedicated to the way Stories Defy The Limits; a reminder that video and television on all platforms can be used to share, educate, and inform important global and societal issues. In May 2021, the Bald Hill Virtual One-Room Schoolhouse was honored with a Telly Award in the category of “Immersive and Mixed Reality – Museums and Galleries,” further conveying the educational impact of this innovative virtual one-room schoolhouse history program.
